🌿 How It All Started
The heart behind Tia Nichelle Co. was never just about starting a business — it was about answering a call. From counseling women and families, to crafting herbal remedies, to teaching and building community, I began to see a pattern: people weren’t just looking for quick fixes, they were longing for wholeness. They wanted a safe place to heal, to be seen, and to be restored.
God showed me that my work was ministry, not just a career. Every skill, every degree, every gift I carried was meant to serve one purpose — to bring healing, balance, and victory to others. That realization became the seed that birthed the Collective.
✨ The Meaning Behind My Name
Tia — A name that carries the spirit of family, a nurturer and protector. In Hebrew, it echoes the image of a sparrow or dove — symbols of God’s care, peace, and the Holy Spirit. A sparrow reminds us that even the smallest and most overlooked are seen and loved by God, while the dove carries the promise of hope, new beginnings, and divine presence. In Greek, Tia connects to Thea — meaning goddess or princess — pointing to dignity, strength, and divine calling. In African roots, it speaks of joy and light — one who brightens the lives of others.
Nichelle — Derived from the Greek “Nikē laos,” (Nicole) meaning “victory of the people.” It declares triumph, freedom, and breakthrough, not for self alone but on behalf of others. It speaks of a leader who carries others into wholeness, lifting the community with her.
Together, Tia Nichelle means:
